This is an attempt at simulating the sounds of a ‘prepared piano’, which is a piano where you place some kind of a weight along the piano string. Drag the mass and position sliders to adjust the mass. As you increase the mass, the instrument becomes increasingly inharmonic, and the tone becomes more bell like. Notice how the timbre of the sound changes a lot with small changes in the position of the mass.
